How do I Host a HOME-BASED Class?

"Hosting" means that you will hold Musickids classes in your home for 8 weeks.  I will come to your home each week with a new class full of songs, games, and fun surprises!

1.  Check out my "Available Class Times".

2.  Choose a starting date and invite your friends.  (Minimum of 7 families or 9 children.  This number does not include the host's family, unless the host family is one of the paying families.  Maximum of 14 children total in a home-based class.)

3.  You will need enough open floor space for each of your guests (with their young ones), as we will mostly be sitting, standing, and moving in a circle on the floor.  I will also need a medium to large table nearby (no smaller than a folding card table).  Toys should be hidden or cleared out of the room.  Classes are more successful when the space is not surrounded by toys.

4.  Email me, Ms. Lolly, at MsLolly123@gmail.com .  Please provide the following information in your email: 
    • Your Name, Address, and Phone Number.
    • Dates and time you would like to reserve for your class. 
    • Number of families* attending.  (You must have at least 7 committed, registered** families or 9 total registered children to receive your first child free of charge.)  I will need to know the actual number of children and their ages--I like to adjust the curriculum to the  average overall age of the group.  You may add to your class before the class starting date, just let me know the update.
    • Please let me know how you heard about Musickids.  (Have you attended a class before?  Where? When?)
5.  Watch your email for a response from me asap!

6.  Remind your guests to make their payment by the first class.  PAYPAL is the preferred method of payment, but cash and checks are also accepted.  Go to:  www.paypal.com , click on "send", log in to paypal, and use my email address: MsLolly123@gmail.com to send payment. (All checks should be made out to "La La Music & Movement", and are due the first day of class.)


That's it!   I will show up at your home about 20 minutes before the classes begin to set up.  Some groups enjoy hanging out before or after the class with refreshments or a pot-luck brunch.  It is up to you.  Thank you for hosting. * The word "families" refers to one adult with their child (and siblings, if any, within the age group).
** "Registered" refers to families that are joining the full 8-week session, and paying up front for the classes.  If your guest chooses the "pay per class" method, they are not considered "registered", and will not count towards your minimum class size.
